Early fall storms provide hope for winter crops

With extreme drought conditions plaguing most of the country, Lincoln county received some relief this week.

Rain storms dropped in excess if 1/2 inch in parts of Lincoln County, providing some hope for winter wheat crops!

The rains were too late to help feed crops and corn, but the benefits are not to be discounted.

Welcome to Lincoln County's newest source for breaking information and news.

We publish two local weekly newspapers covering Limon, Hugo and all of Lincoln County. We believe in providing the highest quality, fact checked news from our community and coverage of our schools. We aim to be Lincoln County's trusted source for local news and community information.

We support our local communities, businesses and schools. We believe that whether you are  a Limon Badger, a Hugo Pirate or a Karval Trojan, you will be interested in this news site.

This site is not a replacement to your weekly newspaper, but rather a supplement to keep you abreast of local news with previews of articles that will be published the following week and late breaking news that does not make the current week's paper.

We know that it will take some time to get the site up and running 100% so please be patient while we get the bugs worked out.

Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to subscribe to this page or add it to your RSS reader so you never miss a story.
