Our own Will Bublitz was on-hand today for the sentencing of Jackie Hasty who entered into a plea deal for her role in the March 9, 2011 shooting death of Limon Police Officer Jay Sheridan.
Earlier today, in the district court held in Hugo, Colo., Jackie Hasty was sentenced to 19 months of time served and three years parole as part of her plea with the District Attorney's office.
Details of the plea deal had been worked out by Hasty's defense and and the District Attorney's prosecutor prior to the court appearance.
The plea agreement was accepted by Judge Jeffrey Holmes.
Further details will be in the October 25, 2012 edition of the Limon Leader.
