Colorado gun bills: Bill that bans online concealed carry certification advances in Senate

A bill banning online certification for a concealed carry firearm permit won initial approval in the Colorado Senate on Friday.
 

The measure worked through the floor debate in about 20 minutes.
Senate Bill 195 passed on a 3-2 party-line vote in state's Senate Judiciary Committee on Mondays.
The bill is sponsored by state Sen. Lois Tochtrop, D-Thornton, and state Rep. Jenise May, D-Aurora.
