Badger Volleyball ALS Challenge

Thursday after practice, the Limon Badger High School Volleyball team and coaches gathered on the practice field for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

This was the last challenge that Jessica Hoffman of the Limon Leader issued, and they are all complete.

We will be making the promised donations to both ALS Research and the Fallen Officer's Memorial Fund, and hope you can find a few dollars to donate too.

ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Our own Jessica Hoffman was nominated by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
Carrying on the spirit of the Sheriff's department, we are donating to both ALS and the Officer Down Memorial Fund.
Jessica nominated both the Limon Softball team and the Limon Volleyball Team. We will also be donating a dollar for every athlete that participates, and $10 for each coach to both charities.
Nominate your friends and help raise some money for these worthwhile causes!

Yard of the week 8-21-14

This week’s Yard of the Week goes to the Davis family. Nathan and Courtney, along with their children, have done an amazing job on the landscaping around their home which is located on C Avenue. The lawn is lush and green and it complements their bright and colorful flowers. The Davis family was nominated by a community member who took notice of the hard work that was put into this gorgeous home. Be sure to thank the Davis family when you see them for continuing to help make Limon a beautiful place to live!
