Food Drive

The Genoa-Hugo High School Student Council is sponsoring a Food Drive to help with the Lincoln County Department of Human Service’s Holiday Basket Program, which will run through Nov. 25, 2014.

The program helps families in need around our community with food for the holidays. Any non-perishable food items would be greatly appreciated. There will be boxes in front of the office at Genoa-Hugo School through Nov. 25, 2014. Class competitions will also take place to see which classes can collect the most non-perishable food items, with awards for the winning classes in the Elementary, Middle School and High School.

Student Council members will also be at the Middle School basketball tournament/craft show on Nov. 15, 2014, collecting food items and holding a bake sale.

Donating two non-perishable items per person, the day of the basketball tournament, will get free admission to the games that day. If you have any questions contact Mrs. Markle at the school at 719-743-2428.
