2015 Fair Schedule

Saturday, August 1
9:00 a.m. Interview Judging of all 4-H projects, except livestock, poultry and rabbit projects.
2:00 p.m. Fashion Revue Judging (subject to change).

Monday, August 3
Fair Building will be CLOSED.
9:00 a.m. 4-H/FFA Horses entered & in place. Open Class entries close                 Friday, July 31.
                Written Tests (Events Building).
10:00 a.m. 4-H/FFA & Open Class Horse Halter Classes.
                4-H/FFA & Open Class Horse Showmanship,
                Performance.
                4-H/FFA & Open Class Horse Trail Course.
                4-H/FFA Horse Timed Classes.

Tuesday, August 4
8a.m.-1 p.m. Fair Building Open to 4-H Clubs Only.
10:00 a.m. 4-H Dog Record Books and club officer books
                due to Fair 4-H Office.
10:30 p.m. 4-H Dog Show.
1:00 p.m. 4-H Booths must be in place.
8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. All market livestock must be stalled.
4:45 pm All Livestock Exhibitors meet with Superintendent.
5:00-7 pm All Market Livestock must be weighed-in.
7:00 p.m. Lincoln County Night (Adult-19 & over ONLY).

Wednesday, August 5
8 a.m.-6 p.m. Fair Building Open.
All Open Class entries must be entered between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
10:00 a.m. PeeWee Goat Show followed by
4-H/FFA Market Goat Showmanship
4-H/FFA Market Goat Show.
1:00 p.m. (or 30 minutes after the goat show.)
Open Class Sheep
                4-H/FFA Sheep Showmanship followed by
                4-H/FFA Sheep Show.
1:00 p.m. Photos of All Sale Animals will begin at Approx. 1 p.m. and be taken throughout the sheep show.
3:00 p.m. All 4-H/FFA Dairy Cattle, Dairy Goats, Breeding Beef & Bucket Calves must be entered & in place.
                All Swine exhibitors meet with Superintendent.
3-7 p.m. Entry of all Open Class and 4-H/FFA Rabbit and
                Poultry.
4:00 p.m. (or 30 minutes after conclusion of sheep show.)
                Judging of Open Class Swine followed by
                4-H/FFA Swine Showmanship followed by
                4-H/FFA Swine Show.
7:00 p.m. Rodeo Bible Camp or Ice Cream Social & Stick

Thursday, August 6
8 a.m.-7 p.m. Fair Building Open.
7-9:30 a.m. Check in Ranchers Pen of 3 (heifers).
8:00 a.m. Judging of Open Class and 4-H/FFA Rabbit and
Poultry (photos taken at close of show)
9:00 a.m. Judging of Open Class Exhibits.
                Judging of Open Class Dairy.
                4-H/FFA Dairy Showmanship followed by
                4-H/FFA Dairy Show.
                Open Class Dairy Goat Show.
                4-H/FFA Dairy Goat Showmanship followed by
                4-H/FFA Dairy Goat Show.
10:00 a.m. Ranchers Pen of 3 Judging.
                Open Class Bucket Calf, Breeding and Market
                Beef Judging.
                4-H Bucket Calf Judging.
                4-H/FFA Breeding Beef.
2:00 p.m. (or 30 minutes following Breeding Show)
Beef Showmanship followed by
                4-H/FFA Market Beef Show.
                Photos of all Sale Animals will conclude this
                day.
5-7 p.m. Lincoln County Stockman’s Steak Fry
6:00 p.m. Home Brew Contest at BBQ Pit.

                Registration & Pre-cooking meeting.
9:00 a.m. Junior Livestock Sale Consignments Close.
10:00 a.m. 4-H/FFA Round Robin.
11-3 p.m. Cashier Window Open
1:30 p.m. Cowboy Up In Kiowa Dutch Oven Cook Off
                Judging.
2:00 p.m. Pocket Pets for Youngsters (contestant must be able to talk to Judge. Under covered area next to
                4-H entry office).
Set up for Junior Livestock Sale. All livestock exhibitors must check in with the superintendent to receive their assignment.
5:00 p.m. Junior Livestock Sale & Buyer’s BBQ

10:00 a.m. Parade Downtown with VFW Band. Shriners
                Band will be performing in the park.
11:30-3 p.m. Cashier Window Open
12:00 p.m. VFW & Shriners Band Concert Under the Awning.
12:30 p.m. Public Fashion Revue in Exhibit Building.
