BRENDA KATHLEEN KREGAR

Brenda Kathleen Kregar of Gaithersburg, MD, loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother passed away on October 22, 2022, at the age of 73.

Brenda was born in Eads, Colorado to Harold and Lila Kregar November 13, 1948. She attended Valparaiso University in Indiana and had a career that spanned multiple disciplines including bank operations, information technology, and ultimately a business owner with her late husband Phil Consuegra.

Brenda had a passion for life, family, and her grandchildren. She was at her happiest when surrounded by family and friends. Whether having sleepovers or trips to the fair for six grandchildren at a time, or hosting Thanksgiving dinners that were the highlight of the year for the entire family, she always loved being surrounded by those she loved. In her spare time, she loved building computers for those who needed them and enjoyed the excitement of playing bingo with her husband and friends.

Brenda is survived by her sister Bonnie, her sons Shane and Brett Butcher and their wives Heather and Donna, and Eric Consuegra and his wife Tiffany, her grandchildren Nicholas, Timothy, Amanda, and Skyla Butcher, Marcus Taylor, Casey, Cameron, Thomas and Kris Consuegra, and great grandchild Camryn Taylor, nieces Virginia and Patty Briggs, Lorri Williams, and nephew James Kregar.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Cheyenne Wells. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Cheyenne Wells. Friends and family can register online condolences and sign the guestbook at www.brownfuneraldirectors.com. Brown funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
