Betty Lou Wardrop, 92, of Linden, Mich. passed away November 21, 2023. Services will be held 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, Mich.
Betty was born July 26, 1931 in Limon, Colo., the daughter of Arthur Henry and Dora Helen (Bailey) Howe. She was the second youngest of 13 children and grew up in Genoa, Colo. She attended Central Business College in Denver, Colo. and worked as a legal secretary for Attorney Joe Abraham (Fenton, Mich.) for many years.
She is survived by her children: Diane Hilsabeck of Pascagoula, Miss., Lisa Elaine McGill of Littleton, Colo., Sharon Leah Fritzler of Linden, Mich., 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Wardrop and son, Michael James McGill.
