Gale Lee Huff passed away on the night of 3/26/2025 in his home in Hugo Colorado at the age of 79.
He was born on 10/10/1945 in Benson, Nebraska, to Warren and Wanda Huff. Gale served in the US Coast Guard from 1963 until his honorable discharge in August of 1971. He then worked as an English teacher for many years in Southeastern and Eastern Colorado before earning his Master’s of Psychology and working as a therapist, spending many years at the Limon Correctional Facility and Lincoln Community Hospital.
Gale is survived by his sister Sue (Wahid) Nasiri and his sons Michael Young, Kyle Huff, and Matthew Huff.
Gale was well known in the community of Lincoln County for his poker games, fishing prowess, and front-porch therapy sessions.
