A friendly reminder to all of those dog walkers who enjoy the Railroad Park
in Limon:
In the park so fresh and green,
Where dogs run wild and sights are seen,
They sniff, they chase, they bark with glee,
Then squat down
quite naturally.
A tail held high,
a focused stare,
A moment's pause
just in the air,
A gift is dropped,
a prize unsought,
Right in the path
(or worse, your spot!)
The owners sigh,
some bend and scoop,
While others flee and dodge the poop,
A careless soul may take a stride,
And find it squelching deep inside.
So heed this tale, booth kind and smart,
When walking pups, please do your part,
A bag in hand,
a duty clear ~
Let's keep the park poop-free, my dear!
